Over the course of the last week, the Sioux Falls Police Department has responded to multiple reports of package thefts. The packages were delivered to the victim’s homes and then left on the front porch. The Sioux Falls Police Department is asking people to follow these tips to protect you from being a victim. 1. Ask a neighbor to pick up your packages for you if you know you’re not going to be home. 2. Have items delivered to your work. 3. If a retailer allows it, select a specific time for delivery when you will be home.
