On August 3, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a residence near East 6th Street and North Cleveland Avenue for a robbery.  The investigation found that an unknown male suspect knocked on the front door of the residence.  When the victim opened the door the male suspect asked her for money.  The male suspect then pointed a handgun at the victim and forced his way into the residence.  The male suspect stole a wedding ring before fleeing from the residence.  The suspect was described as an African-American male, tall, wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a black mask over his face.

On July 24, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near West 12th Street and South Western Avenue for an armed robbery.  The investigation found that two unknown suspects entered the business and approached an employee at the counter.  One suspect then produced a handgun and demanded money.  The unknown suspects obtained an undetermined amount of money before fleeing the scene.  One suspect was described as being a Native American or Hispanic male that was wearing a green shirt, black pants and a green camouflage bandanna.  The other suspect was wearing an Atlanta Braves hat, black shirt, black pants and had a dark colored bandanna.  SFPD CC# 22-15952.

On July 17, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a residence near East Madison Street and North Sycamore Avenue for a burglary.  The investigation found that an unknown suspect made entry into the residence.  Once inside the residence the suspect stole a purse, a ring, and other household items.  The value of the stolen items is approximately $12,000.

July 14, 2022

On July 13, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a job site near West Benson Road and North Westport Avenue for a burglary.  The investigation found that an unknown suspect cut the lock off a construction trailer to gain access.  Once inside the trailer the suspect stole numerous construction tools.  The value of the stolen tools and the damage done to the trailer is approximately $8,000.

On July 1, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near West 12th Street and South Western Avenue for a burglary.  The investigation found that unknown suspects used a landscaping brick to break out a window on the front of the business.  Once inside, the suspects stole an undetermined amount of alcohol, cigarettes, and vape products.

On June 25, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near East 39th Street North and North Cliff Avenue for a larceny.  The investigation found that an unknown suspect cut a hole in a fence to gain access to the secure parking lot of the business.  The suspect broke into multiple vehicles owned by the business and stole numerous construction tools.

On June 23, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near West 25th Street and South Minnesota Avenue for an armed robbery.  The investigation found that an unknown male entered the business and approached an employee at the counter.  The male then produced a handgun and demanded money.  The male obtained an undetermined amount of money and vape items before fleeing from the scene.  The male was described as a Caucasian male, 5’8”-5’11”, with a thin build and was wearing all black clothing and a black mask.  SFPD CC# 22-13393.

On June 16, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a commercial business near East 10th Street and South Cliff Avenue for a burglary.  The investigation found that unknown suspects had made entry into the business after breaking out the entrance door glass.  Once inside the business the suspects stole vape products and attempted to open the cash registers.  The value of the stolen items and damage done to the business is approximately $7,000.

On June 9, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a commercial business near East 15th Street and South Sycamore Avenue for a burglary.  The investigation found that unknown suspects had made entry into the business after breaking out a glass window.  Once inside the business the suspects stole tobacco products, food, and attempted to force open the cash registers.

On March 10, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to several residences near West Legacy Street and South Tayberry Avenue for an aggravated assault.  The investigation found that an occupied residence had been shot by unknown suspects.  No injuries were reported due to the shooting.
